About this site

This site was built to prove my girlfriend wrong. One day I had been speaking to my friend on the phone about teaching in Korea. It was something he was interested in and wanted to get all the info from me. After about half an hour on the phone I said "You know what I'll just send you an email with all this in", that email became the basis for this site. I was really excited about building this site and I enthusiastically told my girlfriend about my grand ideas. She listened patiently, waited until I stopped and then said casually "I'll believe it when I see it", and so, determined to prove her wrong, I set about working on it.

I am an independent writer and I have created this website based on my own experiences, experiences of other teachers and through research. The aim of this site is to provide any with any interest in teaching in Korea with sound information that they can trust and rely on. I aim to do this in a way that is both to the point and easy to understand. Any time I feel lost on how to write I just think to what I needed to know what I was going through the process of moving to Korea to teach myself and what I needed to know.

This is (aims to be in the near future) an affiliate marketing site. I like to be very open about this and I see it as a strength of this site. Essentially it works as follows: I see a product or service that I believe will be of a benefit to anyone visiting this page I provide a link to this page. In return for providing a company with potential customers I get paid (well hope to begin getting paid sometime soon) for this service. I do not recommend anything that I myself wouldn't use for a couple of reasons. Number one; people wont come back. Traffic is the name of the business, should I recommend a bad product then I will lose somebody that may have trusted my recommendations again and even worse they will tell everyone else not to trust me. Number two: the search engines will hate me. Bad ranking on the search engines means no business.

So if you've found the information on this site useful and you found something that you'd like to buy please click through from my site so I can continue to help people with their journey into Korea. Also follow us on twitter and facebook for the latest updates, otherwise just give us a like. :D
